Welcome to last second month of the year.
This year 2024 has truly been so fulfilling and enriching for me. I experienced the best of days like working on this blog, getting an internship in tier 1 firm, trips to humbling places, moving to a posh society, starting tuition again, luxurious outings, many many many movies and worse of them like a heartbreak, ending of college, low moments, friends moving to different cities, feeling lonely, deleting my socials for this blog thinking I lost this platform forever, etc.
Yes, I was this close to give my passion, this blog, up.It’s a long story, so grab some popcorns and get ready to read this, a much needed update of itstinywins.com.
I wrote this in October, when a major situation flared up. But let’s rewind to April.
April had been truly the busiest month of this year for me. I had my 92 days challenge going on, a rough one, along with hectic work hours at one of the most grateful internship, one could ever get in my field. I was so happy, as it was the dream internship, a blessing I didn’t even ask for. However, due to those reasons I could not give it my all to these blogs, to a point I had to force myself to not stress and give blogging a month’s break.
But is a month’s break ever just for a month?Life threw all it could at me, all at once. With major life changes and turmoils all around, I didn’t even have a sense of me properly, let alone to come up here and talk about anything. So, I waited or at least told myself to wait until the fog clears.
And it did. By June it was pretty settled, with few things left to be figured out. So, I wrote an update blog for you all, as I was planning to make a lot of changes here and come back, head on. But by now, I was in a vacation mood. With challenges of events, I faced, my body, soul and mind needed rest to come back up.
I won’t be lying if I said, I did need those 5 months, those 5 months of guilty pleasures, to stand back up. Not all sunny, but majority of days were pretty great. I had a lot of fun and explored many new places and rested a lot too.
Cut to October, when it hit me that ‘THE YEAR’S ABOUT TO END’.I had plans to give up blogging, since maintaining this site is costly with no foreseeable benefits, and I wasn’t proud of my socials for this blog either, so I took the first step and deleted the Instagram handle. However, when I saw my previous blogs, the reason behind why I started this, flashed before me, it wasn’t profit, it was a passion project and I couldn’t just give up without even trying properly.
This was when I decided I am going to keep this blog and keep writing.
As I keep telling you guys, you manifest even the negative things simultaneously with the positives. I focused on the ending this journey more than how much I enjoyed writing these blogs, and as a result I manifested that ending.
I saw the website, the domain name and the hosting site were due their annual renewal, an amount I couldn’t afford then.
But we know, whatever happens, happens for you and not to you.
This situation where I saw no way to save my blog, made me sure that I wanted to keep it no matter what, I didn’t know how, but I had to.
After being sad for a while, I decided to go on with my day and leave it on Universe. I knew I had to work out a way to save it, but not everything was in my control and hence I surrendered.
After being occupied all day in various other tasks, I was casually talking to a friend about this situation. And there came the solution. We both figured out how to save this blog. With little adjustments to my finances and its management, with some uncomfortable sacrifices, I sit here before you all with a brand new blog of TINY WINS!!
This, my friends is another classic example of a tiny win of life!
With hope, surrender and goal oriented actions, we can achieve anything!
I am excited to share that you will be notified of many more blogs coming up here, and with refreshed energy and much needed rest, we resume to sharing our tiny wins of life!!
